![]() ![]() ![]() That's a pretty good point! Might be worth considering different styles of gameplay and awarding different achievements for each, i.e. I realize both of them require a kind of endgame or goal before you can achieve them, so not sure about that, except for reaching a maybe not PC, but very funny :hmm: In the line of 'complete X goal without using Y item', Settlers VI had a 'Veggie' score (less consumption of meat meant a higher score), which was just for fun and had no impact on your actual score, but I can imagine some people might like that.Īt the moment I'm feeding my kitchens on fertilizer and the overflow goes to my forge, so maybe an 'environmentalist' achievement? Using a certain percentage of biofuel, or not using a certain amount of fossil fuel could trigger this. Originally posted by Quibus Maximus:Nice addition :) I am glad to see that we agree on this! I look forward to whatever you decide to commit to :) Originally posted by Erik Asmussen:haha I wondered how long it would take for someone to spot it : ) Oh and they're only hidden so I can test them, I will make them all visible once the update is available. In general I am very much looking for achievement suggestions, so thanks for these, and everyone please feel free to suggest ones you'd like to see! I also really like the idea of 'complete X goal without using Y item' - I will add many of these, but I think first I want to build user options that disable that item for the playthrough, otherwise it would be too easy to screw up a run. But, 'create X items in Y seconds' is much better because they require specialized production chains. I agree that grindy achievements like 'Create 1000 of X item' are not all that interesting, especially because they could be solved by idling. But later on I will add many more interesting ones. Complete any research, craft one iron plate, all the way up to create 1 omnistone. The first set will be the basic ones whose purpose is to nudge players through the tech tree. Haha I wondered how long it would take for someone to spot it : ) If anyone disagrees - I would love to know why! I also do not like things like "Complete all other achievements". I also would want to be able to see all achievements I'm not a fan of hidden achievements. (Need to think of a better name, it's probably not PC) ![]() "OCD" Each farm/mine/etc must only produce one thing, and each storage facility must only store 1 item. "Venice" Replace all workers and carts with boats "Manual labour" Get to Town Hall (not sure what the max is) without using Farms/Mines/etc "Human chain" Get to max tier Town Hall without placing roads/belts "Sugar rush" Sell 1000 sugar in 60 seconds without using storage So, here are a few fun ideas I think would make good achievements: I've not yet got to max tier town hall, I'm taking my sweet sweet time. These are not goals you can aim for they will naturally be achieved. That said, I do not want wishy-washy achievements like "welcome to the game" or "sell 1000 logs". I love where this game is heading and I think achievements will make the game far more enjoyable. I saw that you recently add a hidden achievement. ![]()
